    • Good 1st car

Got it as a gift when I got my license. Been driving it for almost 2 years now and have no major issues yet, with also no previous car history. Gets grate gas mileage, can get around 120 miles on a tank of gas (rough distance from my hometown to st. Paul/Minneapolis). In the summer I do have noticeable cooling issues and only get around 1-2 hours driving range before having to stop and let it cool down, but in winter I dont deal with it at all. Cheep as frig, mine was bought for $500. Definitely recommend for a 1st car and good winter car as its frunt wheel drive and ive never gotten stuck.

We had our 1998 Chevrolet Lumina for for 12 years. Bought it when it had 39000miles on it and when it was totaled by someone playing in a parking lot at a bowling alley we had 259000 miles on it!! It was depressing losing that car! Never had a problem with it that was no regular wear and tare it was always something that was to be expected! This car never let us down EVER!! Ran like a true Chevy thats for sure. We had a 2003 suburban at the same time and both were the most reliable vehicles we ever owned, truly diehard Chevrolet owners here!!

This car has stood the test of time being constantly used in order to make 1 hr commutes to boston for over 15 years. Very little problems, brake line could be finicky but handles well.
